Citizens of Nelspruit and the greater Mataffin area marched the streets of Mataffin on the 19th of June to raise awareness of GBV in the area.
Multiple cases of rape and GBV have been reported in the area raising concern amongst the citizens of Mataffin.
Our aim was to get more people involved and aware of the crime taking place in Nelspruit.
"We would like to thank all of the stakeholders and participants who made this possible," says Nomshado Ndlovu, Program Manager at GRIP. It was an outside event and the event took place in line with Covid-19 regulations.
